Metal forming press manufacturers
This page coordinates comparable factory quotations from metal forming press manufacturers inside a sheet-forming and deep-drawing boundary. We align quote assumptions, list included and excluded items, and ask how force is controlled through the required forming stroke. Manufacturer here means a candidate equipment maker responding to your brief, not a claim that this website is a factory or a brand-appointed reseller.

Requirement review: Design input
Collect the same pack for every metal forming press manufacturer: alloy, temper, blank thickness, finished drawing, draw depth, and whether the stroke is governed by punch force or by chamber pressure. State forming area needed in millimetres and which die and blank-holding components must be priced. Quantity, US destination and delivery window belong on the same sheet so freight is not a silent extra. If tooling development is still open, say so rather than assuming a proven die is included.

Supplier answer
Each manufacturer must return a written split of machine, die, blank holder, controls, installation, training, spare parts and freight, plus the sample blank used for FAT. Ask how force is held through the forming stroke and whether a cushion or active blank holder is assumed. Request which items on a published attribute table—forming area, chamber pressure, punch force—apply to the quoted configuration, and which do not. Suitability always requires that written reply for the intended duty.

Open deviation
Typical gaps: one factory prices a fluid-cell tray while another prices a conventional punch; one includes a development die and another prices only the press; a third uses empty-ram cycle time as plant output. Leave those as labelled deviations. Geographic search ranking in the United States is not claimed. Observed manufacturer literature is an attribute checklist, not a catalogue we stock and not a certificate this desk holds.
Software licences, recipe backup media and operator language belong on the same sheet as hardware. If a bidder assumes the buyer already owns a die set or blank-holder inserts, that assumption must be visible. Optional automation that cannot share the quoted frame should be marked incompatible instead of left as a later surprise. Drawing-level questions on chamber pressure versus punch force are in the pressure-and-force note. Tooling ownership is in development responsibilities.
Connected load, supply frequency and footprint still decide whether a quoted skid can be set down. Ask for kW, Hz and millimetre envelope as confirmation questions, not as ratings this website publishes. FAT sample conditions should name the same alloy and draw depth as SAT. If one factory prices a brand-appointed reseller channel and another prices the equipment maker directly, treat commercial path as a line on the comparison, not as a quality score from this desk.
